DUNDEE 10K MEDAL
I collaborated with Dundee Roadrunners to design a medal for their new race. The aim was to create a playful design that reflects the race’s inclusive spirit and celebrates its unique coastal setting.
The medal features Broughty Castle, the race’s start and finish point, with the distinctive outline of Dundee Law in the background. In the foreground, dolphins play in the Firth of Tay, leading runners along the route (and yes, dolphins really are spotted here! Seals too, but I felt dolphins were more likely to enter a race).
The hand-drawn illustration was printed and enamelled on recycled zinc, translating beautifully from paper into metal.
