I am an illustrator who also writes. My work is grounded in observational drawing and storytelling.
I grew up in the Scottish Borders, studied Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art and have lived in Dundee since 2007. I work in a shed at the bottom of my garden.
I delight in noticing new details in familiar spaces and like to share this joy through my work, creating subtle visual jokes and layers of narratives. My characterful, hand-drawn illustrations feature in projects including activity books and trails, murals, and a graphic novel.
For more details, here's my CV.
My first picture book is out in February 2024. Written by Kate Abernethy, The Great Highland Games Chase is published by Floris Books.
My project with Glasgow Children's Hospital was featured in the Guardian: A Space with Soul.
